“In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.”

HOLI
Today, in India we are celebrating Holi – the festival of
colors. This also marks the arrival of spring. On this day, we spray and
sprinkle colours on each other.
For the historical
significance of this festival...visit....Holi.
What a wonderful and colourful festivity! At this moment I am in Israel staying with one of the bloggers, Dina! Here the people are celebrating Purim, The story of Esther in the Bible. Have a great week and Holy. Great choice! Wil, ABC Wednesday Team.
Hello Janu. Spring and autumn are my favorite times of year (although autumn takes the lead over spring). I've come across a lot of photos this week depicting Holi. I love all the different colors...certainly a time for lots of laughter...something this world needs more of. Thanks for sharing.

DeleteI agree with ROG, until this week I've never heard of Holi either.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I think it should be a world-wide holiday!
