Cos’ I’m desperate;
Looked everywhere
Then thought of you.
I need a gadget
To make food appear
On the table
So, my family is fed.
Better still,
Send a Genie
Who will take care
Of all my needs in a jiffy!

ReplyDeleteI think there's definitely a theme running round, this year we are eating out - I've had 12 years of cooking large Christmas dinners and this year I said Nope - not doing it. I want to enjoy my son's excitement as he opens his presents, savour my dinner and definitely not be so tired that I can't eat it.

Janu, this really hits the nail on the head. Statistics show that people are much more generous to charities during the holidays. We seem to be more sensitive to our brother's sufferings at this time.
